Azerbaijan conducting joint search and rescue exercise

Azerbaijan and Turkey have today begun the IŞIK-2016 international search and rescue exercises as part of the bilateral military cooperation plan, the Defense Ministry’s press service told local media.

3 Mi-17 combat-transport and 3 Mi-35 combat helicopters of the Azerbaijani Air Force have arrived at an airbase in Konya, Turkey, to join the exercises.

The exercises will continue until June 30.
