'Azerbaijan played a great role in the restoration of relations between Russia and Turkey'.

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coşkun told reporters.

He said that Turkish officials thanked the Azerbaijani side regarding the issue: 'During the deterioration of relations with Russia, in addition to Azerbaijan, a number of friendly and brotherly countries declared that they were ready for any assistance. Azerbaijan has always supported Turkey in its hard times. Also, it should be noted that Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has also a great role in regulation of these relations'.
