Hungary’s equestrian expedition arrives in Azerbaijan

An equestrian expedition from Hungary has arrived in Oghuz, Shaki and Gabala districts of Azerbaijan as part of the project “Horseback riding on the Great Silk Road”, Hungary’s embassy in Baku told on Sept. 8.


The expedition will arrive in Baku on Sept. 9, according to the embassy. Benze Istvan, expedition head, has gained a great experience during similar expeditions in recent years.

This is the first visit of the expedition to Baku. The aim of the visit is to strengthen cultural and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, said the embassy.
