Baku to host exhibition on Astrakhan Oblast

Baku will host an exhibition on Astrakhan Oblast of the Russian Federation next year, according to chairman of the oblast Government Konstantin Markelov. He said the exhibition will feature rare photos and documents, including original documents of famous Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel, who lived and worked in Baku.

The exhibition will be held as part of the celebrations of the 300th anniversary of Astrakhan Oblast in 2017.

He also said Azerbaijani Culture Days will be arranged in Astrakhan next year.
